The front is a breathtaking layered mixed media composition that tells a story across the full sheet. The left half is a rich, painterly autumn forest scene — deep reds, burnt oranges, and golden yellows, with mushrooms emerging from the undergrowth and bare twisting branches reaching upward. The right half transitions seamlessly into an aged parchment and plaster background, densely covered in handwritten field notes and botanical observations, with autumn maple branches trailing across from the forest side. The two halves blend together beautifully, creating a design that feels like a naturalist's journal come to life.

Flip it over and you'll find a beautifully weathered aged brick wall in warm sandy pinks and dusty mauves, with a soft bleached centre that fades gently outward. Light, versatile, and full of subtle texture — a perfect understated reverse for layering and mixed media work.
