About Handmade Haven

Handmade Haven was born out of the idea of creating a habitat for crafters. A place where people could gather to create and inspire each other.

It was started by Julie Hill after 10 years of experience in teaching card making and scrapbooking. Julie is also an avid crocheter and loves to dabble in anything crafty and wanted to expand on the previous work she was doing.

Monthly Crop & Craft Weekends are held in Morwell, Victoria, along with Crop & Craft Days and an annual retreat in Yellingbo in June. But for those who live further afield we have this website with lots of crafty goodness available for you to create in your own space.

We are a very small business, and like to support other small businesses, especially those who are Australian and particularly those who manufacture in Australia.

However, we do also source some harder to find products and are open to suggestions of things to stock and are happy to order in particular items you’re after if we can.
