3Quarter Lane - Over the Teacups Kit

3Quarter Lane is a series of 12 buildings, each one a charming addition to your own miniature village. The buildings come packaged flat with pre-cut chipboard and patterned paper pieces ready for you to assemble and create your own miniature village. True to the 3Quarter brand, these kits give you three quarters — the basics — and you can expand on them using other items from your stash.

Part 1 — the building that started it all in the 3Quarter Lane collection. Over the Teacups is a gorgeous two-storey café with a soft sage green facade, lavender roofline, arched windows, and a teapot perched on the roof. The outdoor cobblestone terrace comes complete with café tables, chairs, and topiary trees flanking the door — utterly charming. Each base board has a jigsaw-type shape so they connect together — but if you're not doing the whole series, you can also cut this off to have a stand-alone piece. Finished building is 8.5cm wide, 11cm tall and 9cm deep.

Make It Your Own

This is where the fun begins! Here are some ideas to take your Over the Teacups Café to the next level:

• Tiny doilies under the café tables for a proper high-tea feel
• Mini resin or die-cut teacups and cake stands on the tables
• Dried lavender or small floral sprigs tucked around the topiary pots
• A string of tiny pearl or bead “fairy lights” along the roofline
• Washi tape or lace trim along the awning edge for extra texture
• A handwritten or stamped chalkboard menu sign propped by the door
• Tuck a mini album inside the café using the included A4 papers
