3Quarter Lane - Imagine If Craft Store

3Quarter Lane is a series of 12 buildings, each one a charming addition to your own miniature village. The buildings come packaged flat with pre-cut chipboard and patterned paper pieces ready for you to assemble and create your own miniature village. True to the 3Quarter Designs brand, these kits give you three quarters — the basics — and you can expand on them using other items from your stash.

Part 9 — Imagine If Craft Store is the most imaginative stop on 3Quarter Lane. Unlike the other buildings in the series, this one takes the form of a hexagonal castle tower — because what better shape for a store full of creativity? The white crackle wood panel walls are adorned with gold glitter ornate window frames showcasing art print displays, a gold glitter ornate balustrade on the upper balcony, and a dramatic dark slate hexagonal pyramid roof. Out front you'll find an easel with a blank canvas, coloured pencil die-cuts, a gold glitter dressmaker's dummy, and an Arts and Crafts sign on a colourful paint splash base board. The side panels feature CRAFTS lettering with a large paintbrush, paint tube die-cuts, and an "I Just Want to Create Beautiful Things" quote. The left side showcases a large landscape art print window with an ink bottle and rubber stamp at ground level. And the real surprise? Lift the building to reveal a hidden watercolour rainbow tag book — a stack of gorgeous tags in purple, teal, coral, yellow, and pink, tied with purple ribbon. Finished store is 12cm wide by 13cm tall by 7cm deep. Each base board has a jigsaw-type shape so they connect together — but if you're not doing the whole series, you can also cut this off to have a stand-alone piece.

Make It Your Own

This is where the fun begins! Here are some ideas to take your Imagine If Craft Store to the next level:

• Use the included coloured papers to change the building colour — go bold with teal, coral, or rainbow panels instead of white
• Use the included A4 papers to create the hidden tag book — add journaling, photos, or favourite quotes to each tag
• Add a tiny painted canvas to the easel using a scrap of watercolour paper
• Use glossy gel pen or Glitter Markers on the gold glitter balustrade for extra shimmer
• Tuck tiny die-cut craft supplies — scissors, thread spools, or buttons — into the shop window display
• Ink or distress the crackle white walls for an even more aged, textured feel
