3Quarter Lane - The Gingerbread House Christmas Store

3Quarter Lane is a series of 12 buildings, each one a charming addition to your own miniature village. The buildings come packaged flat with pre-cut chipboard and patterned paper pieces ready for you to assemble and create your own miniature village. True to the 3Quarter Designs brand, these kits give you three quarters — the basics — and you can expand on them using other items from your stash.

Part 11 — The Gingerbread House Christmas Store is the sweetest stop on 3Quarter Lane. This festive building is covered in a gorgeous glittery gingerbread texture, topped with snowflake cookie scalloped roof tiles dripping with white icing. The shopfront features die-cut fairy light garlands, two photo windows with Christmas scene prints and candy bow die-cuts, an arched door dressed with a Christmas wreath and pink plaid bow, a lollipop topiary die-cut, a Santa Stop Here sign, a Merry Christmas doormat, and a colourful gumdrop border all the way around the base. The side walls tell their own story — one features a beautifully decorated Christmas tree die-cut, while the other displays the full store menu: Cookies & Sweets, Ornaments, Christmas Trees, Handmade Toys, Candy Canes, Wreaths, and Custom Stockings. The rear wall features a large candy cane die-cut, and a chipboard reindeer fence completes the snowy scene. Lift the building off its base to reveal a hidden set of four watercolour Christmas stocking cards — each one featuring a different stocking design decorated with holly, red berries, pine sprigs, poinsettia blooms, and candy canes on a layered red and blue mat. Finished store is 11.5cm wide by 13.5cm tall by 5cm deep. Each base board has a jigsaw-type shape so they connect together — but if you're not doing the whole series, you can also cut this off to have a stand-alone piece.

• Use the included A4 papers to create the hidden Christmas stocking cards — perfect for gifting or displaying inside the shop
• Add a tiny string of real miniature fairy lights through the die-cut garland for a warm festive glow
• Use glitter markers on the icing roof details and snowflake cookies for extra sparkle
• Tuck tiny wrapped gift die-cuts or ribbon scraps into the photo windows for a fully stocked display
• Add a dusting of white embossing powder or Frantage to the roof for a snowy, sugary finish
